Program Schedule
Day 1: Srinagar- Pahalgam Upon arrival pick up from Srinagar Airport proceed to pahalgam known as Valley of Shepherds check-in at hotel upon arrival check into the hotel. Overnight in hotel.
Day 2: Pahalgam After breakfast Enjoy Full Day At The “Valley of Shepherds” . In Pahalgam enjoy the nature and admire the beauty of this quiet place and be in awe of the serene surroundings. One can also enjoy a pony ride to nearby places like Chandanwadi , aru valley , betaab valley (on a direct hire basis) or if you are an avid nature lover you may take pleasure in a peaceful walk along the River Lidder. Pahalgam is famous for some trekking routes also & is the base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage. and overnight In Hotel.
Day 3: Pahalgam – Gulmarg After breakfast drive to Gulmarg “Meadow of Flowers” 2730 Mts. above sea level. The distance of 140 Kms will be covered in about 5 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and the highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. You can also have a short trek up to Khilanmarg which can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs or enjoy the scenic view of Kongdori on a Cable Car Known as a Gondola (on your own). Overnight stay in Hotel .
Day 4: Gulmarg – Srinagar After the breakfast drive to Srinagar Morning sightseeing of the Mughal Gardens, visiting Nishat Bagh built by Asaf Khan, the brother -in- law of Jehangir in 1632 AD, and Shalimar Bagh built by Jehangir for his wife empress Nur Jahan. All the gardens are situated on the banks of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan hills in the background. Afternoon will be at your leisure for individual activities. and overnight in deluxe houseboat.
Day 5: Srinagar – Sonmarg – Srinagar After breakfast leave with a full day excursion for Sonmarg “The meadow of gold. Situated at an altitude of 9000 Ft. Sonmarg is at a distance of 84 Kms from Srinagar is also called as “The meadow of gold”. Sonmarg lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. The place is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lake. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier, which is a major local attraction during the summer. Drive back to Srinagar. Overnight stay in Hotel.
Day 6: Departure From Srinagar After breakfast transfer to Srinagar Airport for onward destination.
