Program Schedule
Day 1: Upon arrival at Cochin Airport or Ernakulam Railway Station, meet our representative and drive to Munnar (approx. 4-hour scenic drive). On the way, admire beautiful waterfalls and natural viewing spots. Check into your hotel at Munnar and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 2: After breakfast, proceed for a local sightseeing tour of Munnar, situated 1,600 meters above sea level. Visit the Rose Garden, Photo Point, Honey Tree, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and Kundale Lake. In the afternoon, proceed to Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park) where you can spot the rare mountain goat species, the “Nilgiri Tahr.” Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 3: After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady (approx. 4-hour drive). On arrival, check in to your resort and proceed for a sightseeing tour of Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary—one of the world’s most fascinating wildlife reserves, spanning 777 sq km. You can enjoy optional activities like Boating on Periyar Lake, Elephant Rides, and Spice Plantation tours (available at an extra cost). Overnight stay in Thekkady.
Day 4: After breakfast, check out and drive to Alleppey. Set out on an enchanting overnight backwater cruise in a traditionally decorated luxury houseboat. Check-in starts at 01:00 PM with lunch. Cruise past beautiful paddy fields, local villages, rustic homes, and coconut groves. All meals (lunch, evening tea/snacks, and dinner) are served on board. Overnight stay in the Houseboat.
Day 5: After breakfast, check out from the houseboat and transfer to Cochin Airport or Ernakulam Railway Station for your departure journey back home.
